clay, wood, steel, moss MAD Summer School
The ceramic vessels preserve and process food in a natural and resourceful way and limit the waste of food. Therefore certain environments for different methods such as storage, fermentation, drying and steaming are created and combined.
Through experimentation with different bio–materials such as anti–microbial moss, birch, or earth material in form of clay we developed a variable system that helps food processing and aims to awaken the interest in interacting with that topic.
This was developed during the 10 day MAD Summer School 2018 in Latvia.
